ABOUT US
OUR MISSION
At Neuroqueer Care Collective, our mission is simple and deeply personal, to support the communities we are a part of by helping LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent adults feel at home in themselves. So many of our clients have spent their lives masking, shrinking, over-performing, or trying to become “less complicated.”
Through years of work with people just like you, we have come to understand that therapy isn’t about fixing you. Instead, therapy with us centers on understanding how your brain functions (your unique neurotype) and who you are, helping you unlearn the story that you were ever broken and move toward a more sustainable way of living.
We envision a world where neurodivergent, queer, and disabled people are not pathologized, silenced, pitied, or asked to shrink but instead supported in building lives aligned with their values, nervous systems, bodies, and identities. For this reason, we believe therapy should not be about “fixing” you. We also believe that therapy should be accessible for all people and part of ongoing, routine care.
